Bees

Marisa has been tending the bees, and we assembled new hive components to replace some old plywood boxes that a local fellow gave us a couple years ago. I helped glue and nail up a couple supers, and Marisa made the rest of the supers along with loads of frames.

Planting and Flowers

Marisa did a ton of cleanup in the poly tunnels and planted loads of seeds. We extended a corner of raised be in the first poly tunnel for more plants. And a new box below the poly tunnel with some trees temporarily until we have their final locations ready.

Millking Parlour Door

Finally had some time to remove the rusted door and frame that had been damaged in Storm Eowyn. The new one is a pre-hung galvanised door framed in with treated wood. While the door was out we removed the old water holding tank since it is too wide for the single doorway.
